About this course
The Dalyell Scholars program of the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Advanced Studies aims to nurture future leaders ready to create innovative solutions to disrupt the world for good.
You will enrol in exclusive Dalyell units and have access to a suite of enrichment opportunities.
Who is it for?
For high-achieving students with an ATAR (or equivalent) of 98+, this course is designed for students looking to challenge themselves in the company of their most talented peers. You will have access to masterclasses, events, units of study and competitions specifically designed for the program.
Structure
What you’ll study
Our degree will provide you with a solid education in areas such as accounting, management and business analytics, as well as effective interpersonal and leadership skills. In addition to technical development, you will gain critical thinking and problem-solving skills to apply your knowledge effectively in the business world.

Core units
Our core units, Future of Business and Leading and Influencing in Business, have been specifically designed to prepare you for the contemporary workforce, equipping you with leadership and entrepreneurial skills, as well as the tools to develop a global mindset.
Majors
Building on this foundation, you can choose two majors. At least one major must be chosen from our wide range of business subject areas. The other may be chosen from business subject areas or the shared pool of majors and minors across the university.
Advanced Studies
In the final year of your degree, you will undertake advanced coursework where you will enhance your leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and increase your employment prospects. You will undertake challenging coursework and a substantial real-world project individually or in collaboration with other students.
If you would like to study honours and meet the relevant admissions requirements, you will be able to apply for an appended honours degree after completing three years of undergraduate study.

Admissions
A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents) with an ATAR of 98 or equivalent, or the first year of full-time study in a bachelor's degree with an average mark of 80 or equivalent.
A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
