The Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science allows you to combine two diverse disciplines to pursue interests and passions and focus on areas for employability. You will have the flexibility to select combinations that best suit you and your goals. This cross-over leads to graduates with expertise and skills in more than one discipline, transferable skills, and more employment options. The unique combinations possible within the Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science allow students to make choices for highly specialised industries and careers.
The degree provides a comprehensive grounding in business operations and an understanding of business in the wider society (including strategy and impact) and develops critical interpersonal and leadership skills. The Bachelor of Science provides students with essential knowledge in the fundamental sciences, offering the opportunity to learn how to analyse and think critically while completing core units that provide foundational knowledge for studying science. These distinct approaches provide students with a unique learning experience.
You will complete core foundational units with a major from both the Business and the Sciences disciplinary pools. You will add further breadth to your degree with a minor from the shared pool (other faculties), along with units from the Open Learning Environment and any elective units as needed to make up the requirements for the course.
