About this course
This combined four-year undergraduate degree offers you the flexibility to pursue your passion in interaction design, while developing your skills in entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation, to broaden your opportunities and prepare you for future success
Who is it for?
This course is for students who have passion for digital and visual design, with an interest in pursuing multiple interests and extending their skills in high-level study.
Structure
What you’ll study
Core areas of study include app design, creative technology, design thinking, graphic design, information architecture, physical computing, sound design, user experience (UX), and user-centred design. The four design studios focus on user experience design, interaction design, information visualisation, and interactive product design.
Related units may be taken from arts and social sciences, business, engineering, computer science, music, and visual arts. You will also take a major from the Shared Pool.
In the final year of your degree, you will undertake advanced coursework where you will enhance your leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and increase your employment prospects. You will undertake challenging coursework and a substantial real-world project individually or in collaboration with other students.
If you would like to study honours and meet the relevant admissions requirements, you will be able to apply for an appended honours degree after completing three years of undergraduate study.

Secondary or tertiary qualification
A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
