Structure
What you’ll study
The Bachelor of Education (Health and Physical Education) is an undergraduate degree that gives students a specialist professional qualification to teach in the key-learning area of Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), along with a second key learning area.
You will study core units in four HPE strands: Health, Physical Education, Sports Science and Professional Practice, and a major in education studies. You will also complete a minor or teaching area from the disciplinary pool, and units from the Open Learning Environment or the shared pool as needed to meet the requirements of the course.
You will undertake service learning opportunities throughout your studies alongside your coursework.

Secondary or tertiary qualification
A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
A minimum result of 7.5 overall including a minimum result of 7.0 in Reading and Writing and 8.0 in Listening and Speaking
A minimum result of 105 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading and 25 in Writing and 27 in Listening and Speaking
A minimum result of 76 overall including a minimum result of 68 in Reading and Writing and 79 in Listening and Speaking
