What you’ll study
The Bachelor of Media and Communications is a degree that provides professional training in the main areas of media production and an advanced education in the history, theory and professional practices of the field.
You will complete degree core and a media studies major, focusing on media production, the structure of the media and communications industries, the media's role in culture and politics, and contemporary legal and ethical issues prevalent in the field.
In addition, you will add breadth to your degree by completing a Media Studies major, along with minors and elective units as needed to make up the requirements of the course.
You will undertake coursework where you will enhance your leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills and increase your employment prospects.

A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
A minimum result of 7.5 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band
A minimum result of 105 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing
A minimum result of 76 overall and a minimum result of 68 in each band
