About this course
The Bachelor of Science (Health) provides a thorough grounding in health and health systems at the local, national and global level. You will develop a strong science foundation and the ability to think critically about health and healthcare.

What you’ll study
The Bachelor of Science (Health) is an undergraduate coursework degree that provides skills in critical thinking, complex problem solving, communication and empathy, which will give you the ability to navigate the complexity of health in different sociocultural, political and economic contexts.
You will study core units to gain essential knowledge in fundamental sciences, along with the Health stream comprising core and project units within an embedded program and major. Additionally, you will complete a capstone unit, and a minor or second major from either the disciplinary pool or the shared pool, along with units from the Open Learning Environment and any elective units as needed to make up the required credit points of the course.

Secondary or tertiary qualification
A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
