Who is it for?
Our degree is tailored for those interested in life sciences and dietetics and prepares you as a qualified dietitian, eligible for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status. It offers a comprehensive study of nutrition science, with opportunities to specialise in human and animal nutrition.
Structure
What you’ll study
Our Bachelor of Science and Master of Nutrition and Dietetics is a double degree that will provide you with solid knowledge of nutritional sciences and the expertise to pursue a career as a dietitian in a range of professional settings.
You will complete degree core and junior elective units, an embedded nutrition and dietetics program including a major in nutrition science, and a minor or second major from either the disciplinary pool or the shared pool.
Additionally, you will complete any elective units as needed to make up the required credit points for the course.
After successful completion of the Bachelor of Science (minimum credit average), you will progress to the Master of Nutrition and Dietetics wherein you will complete a prescribed course of study comprising core units in nutrition and dietetics, a training placement and a research project.

Secondary or tertiary qualification
A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.5 in each band
A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 20 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 22 in Writing
A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 61 in each band
